We’ve installed some exciting power and lighting improvements in the 5th Street Professional Centre! This commercial building is home to Goldfinch Small Home Design, Habitat for Humanity, Boys & Girls Club and All Things Dog Room.
3305 Harbourview Blvd, The Ridge
This custom bungalow in The Ridge for Candor Developments features recessed LED lighting throughout and LED puck lights in the gorgeous great room built in cabinetry. We also wired a power feed in the garage for a future EV charger!
Tull Avenue, Courtenay
This renovation was a complete interior renovation on a Tull Avenue home in Courtenay. New fixtures, baseboard heaters, recessed LED pot lights, under cabinet strip lighting, etc.
Robbins Parking
We performed the electrical connection for the installation of an upgraded parking meter at BC Ferries Little River Terminal.
Marygrove
This 3000 square foot home with a well appointed rental suite sits on a massive lot in The Ridge. As with all Candor homes, we installed plenty of energy efficient recessed LED lighting and a power feed for an EV charger in the garage.

Grieve Avenue Restoration
This older home is situated on a huge lot in Courtenay. The owners gutted the house inside and out to modernize and completely revitalize this home. We installed a new electrical panel and rewired the house to meet modern power demand and the current electrical code. This gorgeous home now boasts recessed LED throughout and luxurious in-floor heating in the bathroom! The updated exterior is also highlighted by energy efficient LED sconce lighting.

This custom 3 bay shop features plenty of energy efficient LED lighting and receptacles for equipment. As well, the owner opted for Lutron Smart LIghting components so he can turn the garage lights on from his vehicle.
Hairpins Salon
We’ve installed new LED feature fixtures and plenty of recessed LED lighting to better illuminate stylist stations at Hairpins Salon. Saving money on electricity never looked so good!
Spa Roché
We were called to make leasehold improvements at Spa Roché in downtown Courtenay where we updated emergency lighting and ceiling fixtures inside the spa.

Royston Road Renovation
This large home was completely gutted and updated inside and out. We rewired the entire house which included a new 200amp electrical service and loads of energy saving recessed LED lighting. A beautiful home in a stunning setting!
Generations Laser
We made custom electrical improvements to ready this new commercial space for Generations Laser on 6th Street in Courtenay. We wired in new lighting and custom power feeds for specialized laser equipment in the new treatment rooms.
Foundations Salon & Academy
Leasehold electrical improvements at Foundation Hair Salon and Academy on Simms St. in Courtenay. Installed lighting and power for stylist stations, classroom and kitchen.
the Headquarters Renovation
This home was almost completely rebuilt by Swell Contracting. We rewired the house to update and modernize the electrical system to meet current electrical code.

One of the many services we offer is wiring power feeds for hot tub connections. This particular hot tub features a spectacular view!
Kentmere Ave. Cumberland
This custom home in Cumberland was built by Candor Developments. Both the client and Linzie of LH Interior Design were extremely organized and every detail was thought out well in advance. We installed LED puck lighting in shelving, recessed LED pot lights, under vanity LED strip lighting & wiring for motorized window coverings throughout! This home perfectly meets this clients needs and was a pleasure to work on.
Larch Road Renovation
This kitchen and ensuite renovation features custom LED lighting featuring recessed pot lights & under cabinet LED strip lighting. We also wired in power for in floor heat to keep toes toasty on chilly winter mornings!
Manor Park Electrical Upgrades

EV Charger Installation
Over the last few years, we’ve installed power feeds for many different types of EV Chargers such as Tesla, Bosch, Flo and Chargepoint. With more electric vehicles on Comox Valley roads, the demand for fast at home charging is on the rise. Reach out for an estimate – we’re always happy to play a role in this exciting trend!
A&W Service
We were called early on a Saturday morning to troubleshoot electrical issues at Comox A&W Restaurant. Understanding that restaurants need rapid response service, we were on site within 30 minutes and had the repairs completed quickly.
Waterfront Custom Build | Comox
Built by fine home builder, Griffith Homes this custom residence is both stunning and unique. Linzie Heffernen did an outstanding job with the finish choices! We wired this home with all the latest in energy efficient lighting including:
- Dimmable LED down lights
- Dimmable LED puck lights under cabinets and in the living room built-in shelving
- LED strip lighting under the floating ensuite vanity
- a Lutron Smart Lighting package to control the home’s lighting from any mobile device
We also installed custom power feeds for a glass elevator, a hot tub, landscape lighting and a motorized driveway gate.
Church Street Bakery | Comox
One of our favourite bakeries in the Comox Valley called us to request some lighting repairs. As it was important to work around the bakers’ unique early morning schedule (and not be working on lights while customers were lined up at the counter), we happily came in early to complete the work. Being flexible to accommodate the needs of local businesses is an important priority for us. We were happy to get the lights working at Church Street Bakery but we have to say, it was challenging to focus with the incredible aroma of delicious bread baking in the wood fire oven!
3408 Harbour View | The Ridge, Courtenay
Of all the homes I’ve wired in 30 years, I think this bungalow takes the prize for best layout. We worked closely with Candor Developments Inc. to create a custom lighting plan to best complement this bungalow’s brilliant floor plan. While the home is flooded with natural light by day, come evening the new owners will love the many ultra energy efficient LED down lights. It was our pleasure to provide electrical services on this project for Candor Developments and we wish the new homeowners many years of happiness in their beautiful new home!
Waterfront Renovation | Fanny Bay
We were pleased to work with Mark Toomer Construction Ltd on this stunning waterfront home renovation project in Fanny Bay. We wired a new custom kitchen, a spacious living room and 2 new bedrooms. In addition, we installed plenty of dimmable LED down-lights as well as LED puck lights in the glass cabinets to showcase collectables and decor pieces. As a result, this seaside home is beautifully illuminated but also very energy efficient! Working in this paradise waterfront location for a talented builder was our pleasure.

Kitchen & Bathroom Renovation | Comox
Working with this wonderful couple on their renovation was an absolute pleasure. We wired a new jetted tub and an LED lighted mirror from Splashes Kitchen and Bath to create a luxurious ensuite fit for royalty! We also wired new under cabinet LED strip lighting in this totally updated kitchen. All new seed glass light fixtures throughout have transformed this home into a bright and spacious atmosphere sure to provide many years of comfortable living.
Custom home by seal bay
This beautiful home was designed by Jennifer Charles and built by Mark Toomer Construction for a retired couple with the goal of aging in place. We installed plenty of energy saving LED down-lights which are an excellent choice for anyone with mobility challenges as they’re long lasting, easy to clean and don’t require bulb changes. We also added plenty of extra receptacles per request as this tech savvy couple never wanted to be short on outlets for their devices and electronics!
Tiny Home Wiring
We had the pleasure of wiring this tiny home in the Fall of 2017 for Isaac Bale of Swell Carpentry. The tiny home housing trend is growing rapidly and we expect to be involved in many more projects like this in the future. With space being at a premium and light-weight energy efficiency being top priority, wafer thin LED downlights were the perfect choice for this small scale home.
